S. Kordofan: Assassination of Civilians in Kalinda Violates Cessation of Hostilities

Prominent leading figures in South Kordofan State accused the armed groups of violating the extension of ceasefire and hostilities between the two factions, pointing out that the assassination of innocent civilians in Abbasiya locality is an unacceptable conduct.

Speaking to SMC SPLM-N breakaway group leading figure, Sayed Hammad Kafi said that the SPLM-N is still practicing negative violations against the civilians, adding that Kalinda incident is considered a breach to cessation of hostilities.

Nuba Mountains leading figure Hamad Al-Nil Hassab Al-Rasoul condemned the assassination, pointing out that South Kordofan State is heading towards boosting peace from within, calling of the implementation of the cessation of hostilities.

It is to be noted that the SPLM (Al-Hillu) assassinated three civilians in Kalinda area some 20 kilometers from Abbasiya locality in South Kordofan.
