New Splits Expected in SPLM-N Led by Malik Agar

Leaderships who defected from the Sudan’s People liberation movement- North sector (SPLM-N) has disclosed increasing differences among the leaders of the SPLM-N, led by Malik Agar, due to rejection of the new constitution of the movement.

Speaking to SMC a leading member who defected from the movement, Mohamed Yunis said the failure of the latest meeting which was held in Kampala to unify the points of view of the feuding parties, affirming that Agar has lost his influence in the Blue Nile besides the spread of tribalism inside the refugee camps in South Sudan.

Yunis expected that these differences would lead to new splits in the SPLM-N, led by Malik Agar.
