More than 60 of SPLA Elements Surrender to Authorities at Taludi Area

A group composed of more than 60 persons of elements of Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have surrendered to the authorities at Taludi area, South Kordofan State, with all their arms, while other numbers of the SPLA expressed their desire to put down arms and to surrender at a number of areas western and southern of Kadugli town.

The Armed Forces continued its pursuing to fleeing elements of the SPLA at western and southern areas and imposed control on a number of areas after inflicting heavy losses in lives, vehicles and arms of the SPLA.

The Armed Forces and the Police conducted combing operations at quarters western and eastern of the town, including Hajaral-Nar quarter from which SPLA elements have managed to launch acts for undermining the security inside the town.
