National Congress calls on SPLM leadership to distance from South Kurdufan

The National Congress(NC) has warned the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement(SPLM) and the Government of South Sudan to dIstance from involvement in supporting rebels in South Kurdufan.

NC Secretary of Mobilization, Haj Magid Suwar said if the SPLM and government of South Sudan continue destablizuing the North that may affect the matter of recognition of the new-born state and the efforts for keeping good cooperation relations between the two states, stressing that no political dialogue with those who led the rebellion in South Kurdufan and that they would be apprehended and brought to court.

On the possible role which could be played by Head of SPLM- Northern Sector, Malik Aggar in resolving the problem Suwar said in press conference in Khartoum Sunday that NC welcomes any positive role he would play.
