Armed Forces Spokesman Affirms Stability of Situation in Kadugli

The spokesman of the Armed Forces, Col. Al-Sawarmi Khaled Saad has affirmed stability of the security situation in Kadugli, South Kordofan State, denying what was reported by some circles in this connection.

Col. Al-Sawarmi described the accident that took place in Um-Dorain Area as an individual one as one of the soldiers opened fire randomly and for personal reasons, adding that the situation is now under full control of the concerned authorities.

The Armed Forces' spokesman said that the military relations with the other side in the Nuba Mountains are stable, describing the security situation in Kadugli as completely stable.
