The National Congress candidate contesting South Kordofan elections for governor has attributed the slight difference in vote to fraud by Sudan People’s Liberation Movement.

Commenting on the preliminary results, Haroun said the Movement has expelled all observers and representatives of the political parties from the polling centres and forged the votes.

In press conference held here on Saturday, Haroun held the leftists in the SPLM especially Yassir Arman of the North Sudan Sector responsible for damaging the coordination and harmony between the National Congress and SPLM.

The repeated withdrawal by SPLM from the vote counts is evidence of intended drawbacks, he said He accused the movement of still holding to military in thinking and behavior, paying little heed to rule of law or democracy.
