Two people injured last Wednesday in tribal unrest in Fyed Umm Abdullah, in Southern Kordofan State, have died. Dr. Al-Jaili Fadul, a doctor at the local Rashad Hospital, told Radio Miraya that the two died at the main hospital in Al-Obeid, where they had been transferred.
Fadul added that Rashad hospital is faced with the challenge of treating the remaining wounded. The National Congress Party and Sudan People's Liberation Movement have both accused the other of responsibility for the clashes.
