South Kordofan Pledges to boost roads

Governor of South Kordofan Ahmad Haroun affirmed that his government takes building roads as a top priority. Efforts to establish the roads infrastructure surpass the government's efforts to preserve security in the region, he said.
Addressing a rally in Abu Safifa area eastwards of Kadugli, Haroun stated that his government is implementing number of roads which measure 2,595 kilometers long.
He also announced the launch of work in Abu Safifa area in order to absorb youth, pledging to finalizing Kadugli-Abu Safifa-Hiban Road.
He directed Urban Planning Ministry to survey the area in preparation for providing citizens with basic services. Head of northern rural areas locality affirmed citizens' commitment to preserve peaceful coexistence in the area.
