SPLM's northern sector will continue even in case of separation, SPLM officials say

The SPLM leaders said the party's northern sector will continue as a political party in the North even if the South chooses separation in January's referendum. This came during a joint press conference held in Khartoum by Yasir Arman, Abdel-aziz Al-Helu, Malik Agar and other prominent leaders of the northern sector.

Meanwhile, Abdel-aziz Al-Helu, who also serves as the South Kordofan State Governor, said that preparations are complete to conduct elections in the state on the 9th of April, 2011.
