S. Kordofan Referendum Commission admits low turnout of registration
Sudan
24 November 2010 (Miraya FM)
The Information Secretary of the Referendum Commission in South Kordofan State, Peter James, said the number of voters who have registered in the State until Tuesday is more than 2,600 people. Speaking to Radio Miraya, James said that the low turnout in the State is due to the long distances between the centers and the homes of the voters.
He stated that many southerners in the South Kordofan State are not eligible to register. He urged them to register in the south.
