SPLM against current geographical constituencies in S Kordofan

The SPLM in southern Kordofan has objected the current delineation of geographical constituencies ahead of the state parliamentary elections.

While speaking to Radio Miraya the SPLM State Secretary, Arno Ludi, said that some geographical constituencies were delimited without adhering to the required legal criteria.

He added that the SPLM state sector will present a legal appeal against the current demarcation. Ludi did not rule out resorting to the constitutional court in case the appeal is rejected.

Its worth mentioning that the appeal stage for geographical constituencies for the upcoming parliamentary and gubernatorial elections in southern Kordofan kicked off few days ago and continues for an entire month.
