South Kordafan's Polio Eradication campaign targets over 513,000 children

Over 513,000 children will be targeted in South Kordafan’s statewide polio eradication campaign.  The campaign will begin on Monday and cover all 18 localities in the state.  Director of the Polio Eradication Program, Nadir Saeed, said health officials are planning to move from house to house to vaccinate children between the ages of one day to five years old.     

 Saeed said all preparations are complete and the Polio eradication campaign will be officially launched in Alquiek town on Monday in the presence of South Kordofan’s State Governor and the State’s Minister of Health.
