Minister of National Defence Concludes Visit to South Kordofan State

The Minister of National Defense, Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, concluded Thursday a visit to South Kordofan State where he met with the Wali (governor) of the State, Ahmed Haroun, who briefed the Minister on the security situation in the state.

The meeting also touched on the efforts of the Armed Forces, security, police force as well as the joint forces in this regard.

The Defence Minister stated to SUNA following the meeting that the security measures taken so far will lead to maintaining stability in the state, lauding the role played by the Governor of the state and his deputy in this connection.

The minister pointed out that the various military forces will be well equipped to perform its tasks effectively.
