President Al-Bashir: Any attempt of question about results of the population census is evasion from elections

President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir said the government is demanded of restoring Darfur file and bearing its full responsibility of realizing peace and resolving Darfur problem.

He indicated in his address before the meeting of the National Congress' Shura Council Saturday that the outcome of the Forum of People of Sudan should be the base for any solution to Darfur conflict.

President Al-Bashir commended the Qatari efforts made for resolution of Darfur issue, saying Sudan would not accept dictations despite pressures and plots.

President Al-Bashir, the Chairman of the National Congress underscored that the National Congress 'Leadership Office will give concern to the outcome of the Shura Council meeting and will translate it into program for coming period.

He pointed to strategy made by the party to run the general elections to come, disclosing that any skepticism over results of the population census is just attempt of evasion from the elections.
