SPLM renews rejection of census results

The SPLM Deputy Secretary General for the Southern Sector, Anne Itto, has stressed the movement's rejection of the 5th population census results.

Itto said the results showed inaccurate figures of the southern Sudanese who are living in the north, stressing on the need for an accurate figure of the citizens as they are vital for fair and democratic presentation.

Mrs. Itto suggested a new census recount or using the figures agreed upon during the Naivasha peace talks as solution to this matter.
