Federal Committee Forms to Probe Events Erupt Between Missareiya& Rizakat

Ministry of interior forms a committee to probe clashes erupted recently between the two tribes of Missareiya and Rizakat. For its part government of southern Darfur state reveals good offices are exerted to maintain reconciliation between the two tribes.

The governor of the state Ali Mahmoud told (smc) that broaden meeting held today at Abu Jabra of Bahr Al Arab locality attended by minister of interior, governors of south Darfur and South Kordofan respectively in addition to police commissioner.

The meeting however recommended that Missareiya have to withdraw 5 kilometers inside south Darfur and Rizakat have to withdraw similar 5 kilometers towards south Kordofan as well, said Mahmoud. He adds that the meeting affirms formation of federal committee chairs by ministry of interior to probe actual causes of the events.
