Police issues statment on SPLM's office incident

The Khartoum State Police has issued a Statement regarding the incident that took place in the SPLM office in Khartoum yesterday Tuesday, assuring that there were no indications of an explosion in the area, nor carbonic leakages.

The Statement said that teams were formed to search and investigate the incident.

The SPLM had alleged that a bomb has partially exploded at their office in Khartoum, without causing casualties.

While speaking to Miraya FM the SPLM spokesperson, Yien Matthew Chol, clarified that the bomb was placed at the entrance of the SPLM Deputy SG's office, Yassir Araman.

He describes the incident as an assassination attempt on Yassir's life.

Matthew told Miraya FM that the SPLM has obtained preliminary information concerning the party that masterminded the incident, pointing that the security authorities are carrying out investigations on the incident.
