Popular Support for Al Hilu's Appoinment in S.Kordofan

Sectors of citizens in the South Kordofan State have welcomed the appointment of Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu as the new Deputy Governor of the State succeeding Daniel Kodi. Many citizens of South Kordofan have expressed their support for this appointment to our correspondent in the area saying that Mr Al Hilu has the necessary experience for the job.

Speaking to Miraya FM, the SPLM Secretary General in the South Kordofan State, Arno Natolo, said that it is a turning point in the history of his movement.

Abdel Aziz was sworn in on Tuesday as the Deputy Governor of the South Kordofan State before President Omar Al-Bashir.

 Earlier, the SPLM Liberation Council issued a vote of no confidence against Kodi removing him from his post.
