At least one soldier from the Joint Integrated Units and 8 civilians were killed in separate clashes

At least one soldier was killed and more than six other from the Joint Integrated Unit were injured yesterday in South Kordofan State, during an attack by some armed groups in Khor Deleib.
Miraya Fm's correspondent in the region was told by one of the injured persons that the forces that attacked them belong to the Popular Defense Forces and the police forces in the region.
Meanwhile, the minister of information and the government official spokesperson in south Kordofan, Ali Kuku, told Miraya fm that the situations in the region returned to normal after the security commission had interfered and followed the events in the field.
Ali Kuku revealed that the governor of south Kordofan state headed straight to the state from Khartoum. He added that the attacks were on the SPLM and the Joint Integrated Units forces, which the state security commission had previously asked them to withdraw from the state.
The minister denied the police's involvement in these attacks on the SPLA and the JIU's. he further revealed that there are other clashes that took place in Abri, between the civilians and the SPLA which lead to the death of 4 civilians.
