SPLM renews rejection of SAF build up in South Kordofan
KHARTOUM
15 December 2008 (Miraya FM)
The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Southern Kordofan State renewed rejection of justifications made by the Sudan Armed Forces regarding its troops build up in the State.
The SPLM Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs Moustafa Jamous said the justification made by the State’s governor saying the enforcement of the army aims at countering possible attacks of the Justice and Equality Movement is unacceptable.
Jamous said the enforcement of SAF troops in the region is considered a violation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
