Deployment troops in South Kordofan not threat to SPLM, SAF says

The Sudan Armed Forces said the deployment of troops in Jawa area, South Kordofan State does not represent a threat to the Sudan People's Liberation Army, pointing out the aim behind the move is to secure the State and to deter attempts by the Justice and Equality Movement to attack the region.

Speaking to Miraya FM The Sudan People's Liberation Movement Spokesman Yein Matthew criticized SAF army buil-up in South Kordofan saying the move is a violation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
