Opposition parties warn against ignoring south Kordofan

The opposition political parties renewed their warnings to the Government of National Unity (GONU) against ignoring tensed situation in south Kordofan, before the region becomes another Darfur.

The leading member of the democratic allegiances Faruq Abu Isa told Miraya FM that a delegation from the opposition parties had recently visited the region, and briefed them about the severity of the situation in Southern Kordufan.

Isa added that differences among Naivasha partners in the region have increased tensions and called on them to look into situation before it is too late.
