SPLM South Kordofan wants finance minister back
24 November 2008 (Miraya FM)The SLPM in South Kordofan State renewed its request to re-instate defrocked Minster of Finance Ahmed Abdul Rahman Saeed, saying he did not commit an error that deserved impeachment.
The head of the movement in South Kordofan, Arno Natulo, told Miraya FM that the movement assured him that the State Governor impeached the minister without consulting the chairman of the SPLM, Salva Kiir Mayardit.
Meanwhile, a conference assigned to address the issues of the western sector of South Kordofan State, called for initiating sustainable development programs for the region.
The conference was organized by the Assessment and Evaluation Commission of the State.
The committee raised recommendations calling for the reconstruction of the civil administration, passing of the civil administration law, resolution of security issues and the provision of job opportunities in oil companies operating in the State.
