Forum to Deal with Conflict Resolution Protocol in South Kordufan

A Conflict Resolution Protocol implementation obstacles will be discussed in a forum to be held in Al-Fula town in South Kordufan State during the period 21 – 22nd of current November organized by Assessment and Evaluation Commission in the State.

Commission's rapporteur, Ahmed Mohammed Sulieman stated that the forum aims at resolving some problems related to the protocol implementation in South Kurdofan after the dissolution of Western Kurdofan State and its integration into South Kurdofan.

He said that the situation was not clear and that necessitated reviewing the issue with South Kurdofan government to reach a solution to any shortcomings.

He added that the conference will discuss several working papers concerning youth, women, and native administration.

Sulieman stressed on the importance of participation of the area''s officials in Khartoum to come out with a clear vision to reach integrated resolutions to support the security and stability in the sector, affirming the support of the State''s governor to the forum technically and financially to make it a success.
