Telephone Kuku: Nuba Mountains should not automatically be included in the SPLM Estimations for General Election

Nuba mountains prominent members loyal to SPLM said they have reservations on the movement declaration that it has nominated FVP Salva Kir to stand for presidency during general election scheduled next year.

SPLM member at Nuba Mountains Telephone Koko Abu Galha told (smc) that the movement should not have to include Nuba Mountains and south Kordofan in general in its estimations for general elections. He said SPLM should understand that Nuba Mountain is not a province annexed to the south.

Abu Galha said SPLM did not provide any services all development projects for Nuba Mountains despite the fact that Nuba have fought with the movement for twenty years.

He said Nuba were not appointed in the ministry foreign affairs where about 42 southerners engaged in various positions in the ministry leave alone the 20% allocated for them in civil service in general.

However, Abu Galha urges Nuba mountains citizens insist on be annexed to the north, vote for unity and demand amendments to correct Nivasha protocol for south Kordofan.
