presidency signs agreement reached by NCP, SPLM on Abyei

The presidency has just signed the agreement reached by the joint six-man committee between the National Congress Party NCP and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement SPLM on Abyei.

Miraya FM asked the Abyei File official in the National Congress Party, Al-Dirdiri Mohammed Ahmed, about the key points in the agreement.

In his part, The Minister of Presidential Affairs in the Government of Southern Sudan and high profile member of the SPLM, Dr. Luka Biong, welcomed the endorsement of the agreement.

Speaking to Miraya FM, he described the agreement as a final and decisive step if applied.
