Assessment and Evaluation Commission for Southern Kordofan Acquainted with the State's Government

Assessment and Evaluation Commission for Southern Kordufan State held yesterday a meeting presided by the Commission Joint Chariamn, Niron Philip with the participation of all the members.

The meeting listened to a detailed report from the Commission Joint Chairman, Ambassador Al-Dirdiri Mohammad Ahmed on the Commission's visit to South Kordufan State and its meeting with the Stare's government and the Legislative Council members there.

Al-Dirdiri stated that South Kordofan Governor welcomed the delegation affirming that the State was established according to the CPA protocols.

On his part South Kordofan Governor affirmed that the centre covered Chapter one of the State's budget amounting to US$8 millions besides US$1 million from the State share in oil revenues. The Governor presented a proposal to hold reconcliation meeting in the community and collection of the illegal weapons.

The meeting also reviewed the results of the Commission delegation visit to the western sector and the minutes of the first meeting of the Commission which took place in 27 April in Al-Fula.
