Misseriya attacks Southern returnees

600 returnees from Khartoum state who have arrived wau town of Western Bahr el-Ghazal on Sunday said that they had been attacked by Misseriya tribe on the way. The returnees said that one of the truck drivers was wounded in the attacks.
The returnees at the police square at lokloko residential area, west of wau town told Miraya FM how they were attacked.
The commissioner of wau county lt. col. Anthony Charles has meanwhile denounced the attacks against the people who are peacefully returning to their areas of origin and to participate in the census exercise.
Lt. Col. Charles called on the government of national unity to secure the routes of return for the south Sudanese displaced people who are returning back to their homes.
