Security committee in Abyei discusses ways and means for defusing tensions, opening of roads

The Security Committee in Abyei has held a meeting yesterday in which it discussed ways and means for defusing tensions and opening of roads following the recent clashes between the SPLA and the Miseriya which resulted in the killing of some people.

The SPLM Secretary in Abyei said to AlAhdath yesterday that the situation is dangerous especially after the Miseriya had blocked the roads, banditry and attacks by the Miseriya against unarmed people.
