An identified armed group attacked Buram prison today in south Kordofan and released about 90 prisoners.

The incident took place at 2am and that attacker raided the prison on board of land cruisers; however no casualties were claimed.

Local authorities have started investigating the incident to know who are the responsible actors and arrest them.
