Allegations and counter allegations continue between the SAF and SPLM over redeployment as the deadline ended

SPLM Major General Bior Ajang and member of the Joint Defense Board said that the Sudan People's Liberation Movement is yet to complete withdrawal from the North of the country.

Ajang added that the SAF is still in the Unity State and Northern Upper Nile. Asked about the remaining SPLM forces in the north, Maj Gen Ajang said these forces will be redeployed in hours:

In his part, Lt Colonel Al Sawarmi Khalid, the manager of the military spokesperson's office, categorically denied the statements of the SPLM and told Miraya FM that the armed forces withdrew hundred percent from the south:
