Salva Kiir and Taha affirm in telephone call resolution of issues through direct dialogue

First Vice President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha have affirmed resolution of the current situation through direct dialogue and in the context of the partnership between the National Congress and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) via the mechanisms agreed upon between the two sides in implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).
They affirmed in a telephone call between them Tuesday their keenness on boosting the comprehensive peace process and resolving the outstanding issues between the two sides following the return of the First Vice President from Juba in the coming few days.
