The leading member of the National Congress (NC), Sayed Al-Khateeb, has affirmed the keenness of the NC on the partnership with the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and its promotion to higher levels, announcing the readiness of the NC for talks and frankness.
Al-Khateeb described in a press conference with NC Deputy Chairman Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie at the headquarters of the NC Thursday the SPLM as experiencing an internal crisis and that it started to accuse the NC repeatedly without any evidence.
He said implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) is progressing satisfactorily but there is a group inside the SPLM that has a loud voice of accusations even before the signing of the CPA.
He pointed out that the NC does not desire dissolving the partnership and committed to present the rights.
