Local Authorities take Measures against Suspects involved in Clash between Missaria & Nuba

South Kordofan state government is arranging for holding reconciliation conference between Missaria and Nuba, at the same time police authorities recorded lawsuits against the defendants suspected by killing 19 people in a clash erupted recently between the two tribes.

Lagawa locality executive manager George Jash however attributes eruption of clashes and insecurity existing in the areas to possession of illegal weapons by the inhabitants.

He told press that reinforcements were sent and deployed at border areas of the two tribes so as to stop any possible clashes between them.

It was reported that leaders of the two tribes have refused to sit down for reconciliation.
