Miseriya demands restoration of West Kordofan

Miseria Arab tribesmen have adhered to the restoration of West Kordofan State, which had been divided between North and South Kordofan States in the framework of the CPA.

The envoy of the Federal government Maj.-Gen. (Retrd) Alginaid Alahmar, dispatched to west Kordofan areas to probe the situation there following the recent incidents, was confronted with new obstacles posed by the citizens.

However, the citizens briefed Alahmar on their demands represented in restoration of west Kordofan State; absorption of PDF deployed forces into SAF and the implementation of Abyei Protocol.
