Al-Obeid - Kosti highway was re-opened before traffic as from Wednesday after closure due to heavy rainfall, said the Undersecretary of Ministry of Transport, Roads and Bridges, Engineer Ibrahim Sharaf-Eddin.

He explained that the road is now open for traffic and heavy vehicles as well since there is no slide in the road.
