New Walis of Blue Nile and South Kordofan States Sworn in

The newly-appointed Walis (governors) of Blue Nile State, Malik Aggar, and South Kordofan State, Omer Suleiman Adam, were Tuesday sworn in before the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, at the Republican Palace.
Present at the oath-taking ceremony were the Chief Justice, Jalal-Eddin Mohammed Osman, and the Minister of Federal Government, Abdul Basit Sabdarat.
Following the oath ceremony, the Wali of South Kordofan State, said to SUNA that implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), enhancement of the partnership between the National Congress and Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and the issue of stability will be among his top priorities of their work.
The Wali of the Blue Nile State also affirmed his keenness to bolster stability and development in the state.
