'Proud to be Nuba' book launch

This Sunday the book 'Proud to be Nuba' was officially presented to an international audience in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Nanne op 't Ende, author of the book, gave a presentation about his journeys to the Nuba Mountains before officially presenting the book to Osman Selma, Chairman of the Nuba Mountains Solidarity Abroad.
A Nuba delegation spoke about the difficulties in the region and the slow implimentation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. These topics were discussed by a panel formed by Hannie Halma (writer and photographer), Osman Selma, Rindert Leegsma (former Joint Monitoring Committee), and Nanne op 't Ende. Drinks and informal talk finsihed the afternoon.
