SPLM and NCP agree to integrate police and security forces in South Kordofan

The governor of South Kordofan State, Ismail Khamis Jallab, has said that the National Congress Party and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) had agreed to integrate the Police and Security Forces in the State.

Speaking to Miraya FM Jallab said that the committees formed in the State to supervise the implementation of the Naivasha agreement has reached to a compromise.

"Initially the two partners agreed on integrating the police and appointing members from the SPLM as security offices," Jallab said. Jallab added, "the two partners had agreed to establish two commissions of disarmament in the two states but details will be discussed and the meetings are still continuing".
