Road from Kadugli to Diling opened after closure

Reports from Southern Kordofan say the road from Kadugli the capital of Kordofan and Diling has been opened after a 12-hour closure. The closure follows a fighting yesterday between the Arab tribe of Baggara and the Nuba tribes.

The fighting was triggered by the killing of a Nuba boy who was being rushed to hospital in the village of Korgul, 70 kilomitres from Kadugli.The SPLA forces and police had to intervene to restore order in the area.
