Ismail Jallab said various armed group in South Kordofan State led to violence

The governor of South Kordofan State, Ismail Khamis Jallab, said the recent violence outbreak in the State was due to the heavy arming of the region during the civil war.Jallab accused some political parties of instigating racial differences.

Speaking to Miraya FM the governor said there are armed groups in the State making it difficult for the disarmament program to continue.

Meanwhile the 3rd Local Leadership summit, which concluded recently in Al-Daleng town, has passed the South Kordofan Local Administration Constitution. More than 280 tribal Sultans differed fiercely before agreeing on a final constitution.
