Al Bashir Directs South Kordofan Government to Enforce Law

The President of the Republic Omar Al Bashir has directed the South Kordofan State to utilize all the state resources for achieving development for the benefit of the citizens. Al Bashir said the federal government has provided 92 billion Dinars for South Kordofan State and therefore there is no ground for the delay in the salaries payment.  Al Bashir called on the government to apply the law regulations against those who organized illegal boycotts.

Al Bashir said during attending South Kordofan State government meeting that the state is rich in the oil resources that are needed for development.

On his part, the South Kordofan State Governor Khamis Galab briefed the meeting about the achievements of his government in the year 2006. After approving the State constitution and forming the government, we are ready now for development, he said adding that there are no grounds for boycotts in the state because all the workers have received their salaries up to the end of January, 2007.

On his part, the Federal Minister of Finance and National Economy, Al Zubair Ahmed Al Hassan said that the fiscal performance in the state is typical to the ministry records and policies. He further called for providing more health and education services.

Meanwhile the Minister of Energy and Mining, Dr. Awad Al Gaz said that the companies working in the field of minerals exploration in the state will provide great services to the citizens.

In the meantime the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Tabitha Boutros refereed to great development in providing health services especially in the western part of the state.
