Projects of health services for South and North Kordofan were signed

Projects of health services for South and North Kordofan were signed at Martyr Al-Zubair Mohamed Salih Hall here between West Kordofan Corporation for Development and Services and King David Investment Company, at a cost of around 13 billion pounds.

Federal Minister of Health Dr. Tabita Butros said that the project was made successful due to the considerable efforts of the President of the Republic, explaining that the projects include establishment of 8 hospitals, 12 health centers, and provision of 8 ambulances to support the primary health care to effect a qualitative shift in the filed of health, treatment and preventive health services.

She added that project also constitutes a boost for the peace projects and comes in implementation of the peace agreement and Sudan's interim constitution. She further affirmed keenness of her ministry to provide health cadres in Kordofan states, stressing that the project would improve the services and help in control of endemic, contagious and chronic diseases.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of he corporation Ahmed Salih Sallouha, on his part, announced that the water projects for the would be signed in the coming days with a cost of a round 32 billion Sudanese pounds.
