United Nations employee shot in the leg in Kadugli

A United Nations employee was shot in the leg on Friday in Kadugli, South Kordofan, by unidentified persons.

Omer Sharu, a Somali national working as a Project Manager for the United Nations in Kadugli, was shot in the leg while driving, sources said. He was rushed to a United Nations hospital in Kadugli.

The Governor of South Kordofan has ordered a pursuit of the culprits who are still at large.
