MMA Party Welcomes Government's Agreement with Rebel Movement, America on Nuba Mountains Region

The leadership office of the Umma Party Saturday welcomed the government's agreement with the American government and the rebel movement, the Nuba Mountain Sector.

This came when the leader of the Umma Party, As-Sadiq Al-Mahadi, chaired the meeting of the Umma Part's Leadership Office at the Headquarters of the Party on Saturday.

The meeting discussed a report presented by a committee, headed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Fadulallah Burma Nassir, on the agreement.

First Deputy Chairman of the Umma Party, Dr. Omer Nural-Daim, told SUNA that the meeting welcomed the agreement.

The meeting has also discussed a report by a legal committee on the imminent elections of the Sudanese Bar Association.
