The recaptured areas were Um-Darato, Kajama, Dengaro, Tajoda, Mazdi, Zouba, Farnago and Alair.

The statement said that the armed forces' troops have freed citizens at the said areas who had been used by the outlaws' movement as human shields and mistreated by the outlaws movement.

The armed forces' troops seized big quantities of arms and ammunition from the defeated outlaws.

The statement stressed that the valorous armed forces will remain defending the homeland and guarding the dear values of the nation.
