The newly-elected South Kordofan Sate's Wali (governor) Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, has called on the citizens of the state in the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) to re-asses their relations with the SPLM North Sector; Its leaders attempt to realize their ambitions and aspiration that their capabilities, will not enable them to attain, at the expense of the citizens of the state
He said in a press conference he held at the Secretariat of the National Congress in Kadugli, following the announcement of the elections result, that the leaders of the SPLM's North Sector represent the leftist thought and they do not find themselves except at the times of crises.
He said that I appealed to the brothers in the SPLM to consider, even for once, the issues of their people in the state, explaining that there is no medicine in the SPLM pharmacy to heal Nuba Mountains.
He stressed that the call of the National Congress for the political forces including SPLM to participate in the formation of a national broad-based government is still open, adding that there will not be any retreat
