South Kordofan High Elections Committe Publish Name Of Nominees For Gubernatoria Post And Parliamentary seat

The southern Kordofan High Elections Committee on Friday published the names of nominees for governorship and parliamentary seats in the state.

The Chairman of the Southern Kordofan High Elections Committee Mohamed Idris told SRS that the committee received five names of the nominees from various political parties in the state.

The five include, Ahmed Mohamed Heron from NCP, Abdul-Aziz Al Hilu from the SPLM, Telephone Kuku from the SPLM, Meki Balail from the Justice Party and Al- Zohar Khalil.

Idris added that the committee has given three days for any appeals against any of the nominees.

The elections in southern Kordofan state are scheduled for May 2nd, 2011
