SPLM reiterates boycotting of elections in Southern Kordofan

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) affirmed its commitment to boycotting of elections in Southern Kordofan unless the National Elections Commission (NEC) reviews and redistributes the geographical constituencies in the area.

SPLM spokesperson in Southern Kordofan, Mohamadain Ibrahim, told Miraya FM that discussions are underway at the presidential level to contain the dispute. He added that the elections might not take place in the state if these efforts fail.
