Justice Minister, Mohammed Ali Al Mardi has disclosed that the Chief Attorney  to the State Security and the principal investigator in the case, Major General Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein was to head  yesterday to South Kordofan State to authenticate information delivered during interrogation which says that weapons where hidden in the State  for use in the recently foiled sabotage attempt in Khartoum.

In a press statement yesterday, Mardi revealed that an investigation team has been sent there in advance of Hussein's facts finding visit to pave the way for investigation swift completion.

The Justice Minister strongly dismissed the press news which said that the investigation tendency is to incriminate Al Hawazma tribe, adding that South Kordofan State has been inhabited by other tribes besides Al Hawazma and were not tribally biased.

Mardi noted that his teams went to the area to authenticate information concerning a particular case where investigations would reveal facts as interrogations proved that weapons detected in Khartoum were brought from South Kordofan. He further hinted that new directives were issued in respect of investigation completion as well as the situations of persons in jail  pending trials.
